InspIRCd 1.1.16

InspIRCd

InspIRCd is a modular C++ IRCd (IRC daemon) for Linux, BSD, Windows and Apple OS X systems created to provide a stable, modern, and lightweight IRCd written from scratch.
As InspIRCd is one of the few IRCd projects written from scratch, it avoids a number of design flaws and speed issues that plague other more established IRCd projects with the same or less features, such as UnrealIRCd 3.
InspIRCd is one of the few IRCd projects to provide a vast number of features in the form of modules through the use of an advanced, well documented module API.
By keeping the functionality of the main core to a minimum we hope to increase the stability and speed of our IRCd project and make it customisable to the needs of many users.
InspIRCd is designed primarily to be a custom IRCd for the ChatSpike IRC network however we are releasing this free IRCd to the public under the GNU GPL so that you may benefit yourself from our work.
If you have any questions about InspIRCd, or feature requests, patches etc, you may contact our development team by connecting to our IRC support channel at irc.inspircd.org.

Transcribe! for Linux 7.50

Transcribe! for Linux 7.50

Seventh String Software

Transcribe! is an assistant for working out a piece of music from a recording. Transcribe! offers many features aimed at making the transcription job smoother and easier, including the ability to slow down the music without changing its pitch, and to analyse chords and show you what notes are present. Features: Depending on version, Transcribe! reads audio from many different types of audio file and audio CD. It displays the audio waveform and allows you to scroll around, place markers for sections, measures and beats, and easily play or loop from any point. You can also add textual annotations. Loops and positions can be stored and recalled. There are many keyboard shortcuts and you can configure these as you like. You can configure Transcribe! to respond to MIDI (not on Linux) so as to keep your hands free : start and stop playback with your feet! There is extensive and readable help accessible from within the program. The "spectrum" feature displays the strength of the various pitches in any chord or note you select, in the form of a graph - a wavy line over a piano keyboard graphic. The height of the various peaks in the graph indicate the strength of the note above which the peak appears. This is not a magic bullet for analysing chords but it can be a very useful source of information. Transcribe! offers various audio processing effects (Slowdown, Pitch Change, EQ filtering etc) intended to help with transcribing. These effects all run in "real time" unless your machine is old & slow. This means there is no pre-processing or other waiting, the processing is performed on-the-fly while playing and you can instantly hear the effect of changes to EQ etc. For instance if you press the half-speed button while playing then playback simply continues, at half speed.

ECMerge Pro (Linux) 2.1

ElliƩ Computing

ECMerge compares and merges local/FTP/SCC text/images/folders, side-by-side or 3-way. It is designed for software engineers, web authors and other professionals who work with multiple revisions of text files or who need to keep multiple folder hierarchies in sync. Two text files or folders can be compared to a common ancestor: comparing entire source code branches can give assurance that every change introduced in a particular product release is known and understood. Save your work at intermediate situation and restart it later (full comparison status saved)! Define favourite comparisons as templates to launch them in one click or with the command line. Generates reports in Unix patch, XML and HTML format for Text, Images and Folder Comparisons. Displays Comparisons Statistics on the whole document, or the selected items. Provides syntax colouring for many languages. The integrated XML pretty-printing filter allows great comparisons for XML files, the equivalent output filter can compact the XML into one-line file. In-line differences at word or character level. A security distance can be specified for 3-way file merges so as to attract user attention during risked merges. Ignore lines matching a regular expression. Recursively compare and synchronize trees of folders and files to find the differences both in file presence and file contents, works between local directories or networked computers (Windows/Unix/MacOS). Deploy to FTP sites. Filter files/folders to be displayed in Folder comparison view, by name, date or status.

A shell extension is provided under Windows to select items to compare and launch ECMerge. Command line to merge files and generate reports from batches. Drag and drop of files/folders to be merged, list of recently used filenames. Can be used as a replacement of many SCC own merge tool, for better display of changes and more efficient merges. A Standard version limited to side-by-side comparison exists. Runs on Windows, Linux&Solaris.
